Under the guidance of Agga Maha Sirisudhamma Manijotadhara U Sai Myo Win, Founder, Chairman & Group CEO of EFD Group the “Daily Steps for Health Challenge” took place over 11 months, from February 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022. The challenge aimed to foster a healthy, happy, and prosperous EFD Group family community. The EFD Group Step Challenge – 2022 Annual Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner was held lavishly at LOTTE Hotel Yangon on June 16, 2023.

Approximately 500 contestants, including EFD Group and its family subsidiaries such as Excellent Fortune Life Insurance (EFI Life), Excellent Fortune General Insurance (EFI General), Farmers Development Bank – Mandalay (FDB Bank), Excellent Fortune Finance (EFF Finance), and other family subsidiaries, participated in the competition.

Every month, the family members who made exceptional efforts were awarded the following prizes:

– First prize: 100,000 Kyats

– Second prize: 90,000 Kyats

– Third prize: 80,000 Kyats

– Fourth prize: 70,000 Kyats

– Fifth prize: 60,000 Kyats

– Sixth prize: 50,000 Kyats

– Seventh prize: 45,000 Kyats

– Eighth prize: 40,000 Kyats

– Ninth prize: 35,000 Kyats

– Tenth prize: 30,000 Kyats

Additionally, an unlimited number of participants who achieved a daily step count of 20,000 were awarded 20,000 Kyats each month as an honorary recognition.

Throughout the competition, special awards were presented to the family members who consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication each month.

The recipients of the special awards are as follows:

  1. Winner (1,000,000 Kyats): U Thura Oo from the EFD Group, Admin Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. 1st Runner Up (900,000 Kyats): U Wai Phyo Zaw from the EFD Group, Chairman Office received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. 2nd Runner Up (800,000 Kyats): U Kyaw Kyaw Tun from the EFD Group, Admin Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. Fourth prize (700,000 Kyats): U Tin Tun Oo from the EFD Group, Land Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. Fifth prize (600,000 Kyats): U Nay Lin from the EFD Group, Admin Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. Sixth prize (500,000 Kyats): U Myint Swe from the EFI Life, Life Insurance Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. Seventh prize (400,000 Kyats): U Tint Zaw Aye from the EFD Group, Industrial Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. Eighth prize (300,000 Kyats): U Tint Lwin from the EFI Life, Management Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. Ninth prize (200,000 Kyats): U Nay Lin Tun from the EFD Group, Admin Department received the medal and certificate of honor.
  1. Tenth prize (100,000 Kyats): Daw Hnin Ei Shwe Yi from the FDB Bank, ICT Department received the medal and certificate of honor.

All the recipients were deserving winners.

Furthermore, a special lucky draw was conducted for 151 individuals who achieved a monthly step count of 200,000 or more.

As part of this lucky draw, an Apple Watch Series 8 was won by U Arkar Aung San from the EFD Group, Admin Department. The ceremony was successfully concluded at 8:30 pm.

  • The Strategic Plan Meeting of Excellent Fortune Development Group Company Limited was held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. by Video Conferencing.
  • The meeting was chaired by Agga Maha Sirisudhamma Manijotadhara U Sai Myo Win, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; Agga Maha Sirisudhamma Singi Daw Nan Khin Myint Yee, Co-founder and Vice-Chairman; senior executives of the company; and Heads of Departments were fully present.
  • At the meeting, the Chairman reviewed and approved the vision and mission of each of the companies and departments for 2022, and the Chairman directed the implementation of those objectives.
  • Business Continuity Plans to minimize business impact and streamline operations due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and changes in the country were approved during the meeting.
  • The Board of Directors drafted and approved the strategies and the meeting was successfully ended at 7:00 p.m.

Agga Maha Sirisudhamma Manijotadhara U Sai Myo Win, Founder, Chairman & Group CEO of EFD GROUP and Managing Director of Golden Environmental Construction Co., Ltd. has sponsored the use of Myanmar Expo Hall, at USD 900,000/month, as a new designated COVID-19 quarantine center till the time when COVID-19 pandemic is fully controlled.

Chairman has also initiated a fund for medical and necessities at the center with MMK 100 million. The Myanmar Expo Hall has converted as a new COVID quarantine center to 550 beds center including special Highly Dependency Units (HDU) within 10 days and accepted its first patient on October 8.The Center is supervised by the Ministry of Health and Sports in collaboration with Yangon Region COVID-19 Protection, Control, and Treatment Committee medical treatments.On the opening, about 100 patients were admitted to the center.

“Fortune Plaza Happy Covid Center” provides 24/7 power supply, clean water, aircon, free Wi-Fi access, hot and cold-water dispensers, library, gym equipment and recreation areas for the patients and washing machines, clothes dryers and hair dryers for the medical staffs and volunteers. The Center also includes adequate bathrooms and toilets for the patients, medical staffs and volunteers.

EFD GROUP is also donating purified  drinking waters for patients, medical staffs and volunteers till the quarantine center operation has discontinued at the time of COVID-19 pandemic has overcome.

Farmers Development Bank – Mandalay held the Soft-Opening of the first Branch on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at No. 70, Corner of 84 Street, between 28th Street and 29th Street. FDB Bank uses the State-of-the-Art Digital Banking System to provide excellent banking services to the customers such as opening of Special Call Deposit, Fixed Deposit, Saving Account and loan services such as Home Loan, Auto Loan, Personal Loan, etc. to the business owners and customers.

Agga Maha Sirisudhamma Manijotadhara U Sai Myo Win, Founder, Chairman & Group CEO of Excellent Fortune Development Group (EFD GROUP) and Excellent Fortune Foundation (EFF Foundation) donated the rice, oil and groceries to the (6,290) households worth over 120 Million Kyats.

(EFD GROUP) and Excellent Fortune Foundation (EFF Foundation) deposited  1,000,000,000/- Kyats (One Billion Kyats) to the National COVID-19 Vaccination Fund Account, OA 013733 of Myanma Economic Bank on 25th January 2021 at the Yangon Region Government Office Meeting Room.

During 2020, EFD GROUP and EFF Foundation has already contributed to the nationwide health sector with more than 3,145,000,000/- Kyats.

EFD GROUP in collaboration with Breakthrough Coaching, Training & Consulting, has conducted to 200 staffs with a three-day Transformational Leadership Journey intensive training course from 11th to 13th February 2022 to improve the leadership skills of EFD GROUP employees and to develop more successful leaders.

EFD GROUP has partnered with Taiwan’s world-class Shih Chien University to improve the professional skills of its employees. On the 17th and 24th of September 2021, 33 employees were selected to attend a special short-term training course on business management, financial management, and insurance.
