Job Description
The Senior Associate / Associate – Corporate Communications & Executive Support provides communication, coordination, and administrative support to senior management. The role ensures professional corporate communications, well-organized executive activities, and timely follow-up on management priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Draft, proofread, format, and distribute corporate emails, letters, announcements, reports, presentations, briefing notes, and other communication materials.
- Support internal communications, including staff announcements, management updates, newsletters, policy communications, and event-related messages.
- Coordinate executive calendars, appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, reminders, and scheduling changes.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, briefing documents, background materials, and required logistics for senior-management meetings.
- Attend meetings when required, prepare accurate minutes, and monitor follow-up on decisions and action items.
- Collect information from departments and consolidate reports, updates, and presentations for management review.
- Follow up with internal teams and external stakeholders on executive requests, deadlines, approvals, and outstanding deliverables.
- Act as a professional point of contact between executives, employees, customers, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain organized, secure, and confidential records of executive correspondence, reports, contracts, approvals, and management documents.
- Support corporate events, executive visits, stakeholder meetings, management workshops, and official functions.
- Ensure communication materials are aligned with EFD Group’s brand guidelines, tone, policies, and professional standards.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and promptly escalate urgent issues or risks to the appropriate executive.
- Perform other corporate communications, executive-support, and administrative duties as assigned.
Senior Associate – Additional Responsibilities
- Review and refine executive correspondence, presentations, reports, briefing notes, and corporate communication materials.
- Independently manage competing executive priorities, calendar conflicts, and complex meeting arrangements.
- Coordinate cross-functional follow-up on strategic initiatives, management decisions, and high-priority deliverables.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, department heads, and key external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve communication workflows, document control, executive-support processes, and action-tracking systems.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to junior team members when required.
- Exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive matters and escalating issues appropriately.
Job Requirements
For Senior Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Management, English, International Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, executive assistance, executive office support, public relations, administration, or a similar role.
- Strong experience drafting executive correspondence, reports, presentations, briefing notes, meeting minutes, and communication materials.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate senior-management calendars, meetings, travel, and competing priorities independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Myanmar language.
- Strong stakeholder-management, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online collaboration tools.
- High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and accountability.
For Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Management, English, International Relations, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in corporate communications, executive support, administration, public relations, or office coordination; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
- Good writing, proofreading, communication, documentation, and presentation-preparation skills.
- Basic experience coordinating meetings, calendars, travel arrangements, and follow-up activities.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Myanmar language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online meeting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, discretion, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Professional, proactive, service-oriented, and willing to learn.
