Job Description
The Senior Associate / Associate – Business Operations supports efficient day-to-day business execution by coordinating cross-functional activities, monitoring operational performance, preparing reports, and following up on management priorities.
Key responsibilities include
- Coordinate daily operational activities across relevant departments.
- Collect, compile, and maintain accurate operational data, reports, trackers, approvals, and supporting documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates.
- Monitor operational KPIs, sales performance, inventory status, service levels, outstanding actions, and other business-performance indicators.
- Follow up on assigned action items, deadlines, approvals, management decisions, and cross-functional requests.
- Identify data discrepancies, process gaps, delays, risks, or unresolved issues and raise them promptly with the relevant team or supervisor.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures, policies, and internal controls.
- Assist with business planning, budgeting, cost monitoring, resource coordination, and operational-improvement projects.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and supporting documents, record meeting minutes, and track agreed actions to completion.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to gather information and support smooth business operations.
- Maintain organized records, reports, approvals, and operational documentation for management review and audit purposes.
- Perform other business operations, coordination, and administrative duties as assigned.
Senior Associate – Additional Responsibilities
- Review operational reports, dashboards, trackers, and supporting data for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Coordinate more complex cross-functional activities and support resolution of operational issues affecting business performance.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and improvement actions.
- Prepare management summaries, performance reviews, and recommendations for operational decisions.
- Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of business projects and process-improvement initiatives.
- Monitor follow-up on key management decisions, strategic priorities, and high-impact operational deliverables.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to junior team members when required.
- Escalate significant operational risks, delays, or control issues to management promptly.
Job Requirements
For Senior Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business operations, operations coordination, project coordination, business analysis, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of business processes, operational controls, KPI monitoring, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, prepare management reports, and recommend practical improvement actions.
- Strong organizational, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP, reporting, or business-intelligence tools is preferred.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Myanmar language.
- High integrity, accountability, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
For Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business operations, administration, reporting, coordination, customer service, or a related role; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
- Basic understanding of business processes, reporting, documentation, and operational coordination.
- Good numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage records, trackers, and reports accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP or reporting systems is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Myanmar language.
- Professional, proactive, collaborative, responsible, and willing to learn.
