Key Responsibilities

1. Web Development & Programming

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the company’s portfolio of websites and web applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and reusable code in languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP (Laravel), Python (Django/Flask), or Java.
• Build and manage responsive, cross-browser compatible front-end interfaces using modern libraries likejs, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Develop and integrate back-end services, APIs, and databases.
• Implement and manage Content Management Systems (CMS) likeWordPress or Shopify for marketing and e-commerce sites, including custom theme and plugin development.

2. Collaboration & Project Lifecycle

• Work closely with the digital marketing, branding, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in the entire web development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility and implement visually appealing designs.

3. Performance, Security & Maintenance

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and search engine visibility (SEO fundamentals).
• Implement robust security and data protection measures, especially for handling sensitive customer and financial data.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance across all major browsers and devices.
• Perform regular site maintenance, updates, and backup operations.

4. Innovation & Improvement

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively recommend improvements to our web infrastructure.
• Assist in the development and integration of third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, SMS APIs, Google Maps, ERP systems).

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Proven experience building and deploying dynamic, database-driven websites and web applications.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects is required.
• Front-End: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript. Experience with a front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular) and preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
• Back-End: Strong experience in at least one server-side language (PHP/Laravel, Python/Django, Node.js, or Java).
• Database: Experience with relational database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Version Control: Proficient with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• CMS: Hands-on experience customizing and developing for WordPress.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
• Understanding of web security best practices (OWASP).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory for understanding technical documentation and collaborating with international vendors/teams.
