Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Strategy
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients/partners.
  • Assist in developing business strategies to expand market share and revenue streams.
  • Prepare business proposals, financial models, and investment memorandums.
  • Support negotiations and deal structuring with clients, investors, and partners.
  1. Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry players.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, legal, finance) to ensure smooth project execution.
  1. Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market feasibility studies.
  • Track regulatory changes and economic developments affecting business operations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on business opportunities.
  1. Deal Execution & Project Coordination
  • Support due diligence, contract drafting, and deal closing processes.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Track KPIs and report on business development performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 4-6 years in business development, corporate strategy, or investment roles (Myanmar/SE Asia experience a plus).
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with conglomerates and multiple business sectors in Myanmar.

Skills

  • Strong analytical & financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent negotiation & communication (English, Chinese & Burmese).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools.
  • Other: Willingness to travel within Myanmar.
