Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategy
- Research and identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients/partners.
- Assist in developing business strategies to expand market share and revenue streams.
- Prepare business proposals, financial models, and investment memorandums.
- Support negotiations and deal structuring with clients, investors, and partners.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry players.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, legal, finance) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct competitive analysis and market feasibility studies.
- Track regulatory changes and economic developments affecting business operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on business opportunities.
- Deal Execution & Project Coordination
- Support due diligence, contract drafting, and deal closing processes.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Track KPIs and report on business development performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years in business development, corporate strategy, or investment roles (Myanmar/SE Asia experience a plus).
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with conglomerates and multiple business sectors in Myanmar.
Skills
- Strong analytical & financial modeling skills.
- Excellent negotiation & communication (English, Chinese & Burmese).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools.
- Other: Willingness to travel within Myanmar.
