Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Lead market entry strategies for new products/services or geographic expansions.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Client & Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, investors, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at high-level meetings, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, joint ventures (JVs), and memorandums of understanding (MoUs).
- Deal Sourcing & Execution
- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including prospecting, due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiations.
- Oversee the preparation of business proposals, investment pitches, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal closures.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Manage and mentor a team of business development associates, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Set and monitor KPIs for the business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and results.
- Financial & Operational Oversight
- Develop budgets and financial forecasts for business development initiatives.
- Track revenue growth, profitability, and ROI of business development projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 7+ yearsof experience in business development, corporate strategy, or investment roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking and financial analysis (experience in financial modeling and business valuation).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (Fluency in English and Burmese is required. Fluency in Chinese is a plus.).
- Leadership ability with experience in managing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics.
