Job Description
The Senior Associate / Associate – HR Support provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function, helping ensure efficient recruitment, employee-record management, attendance administration, payroll support, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, reference checks, and onboarding coordination.
- Prepare and maintain employee files, employment contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, staff lists, and other HR documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR records and systems, including personal details, job information, leave, attendance, and employment status.
- Support attendance, leave, overtime, shift, and payroll-input administration; verify information before submission to Finance or payroll personnel.
- Coordinate new-employee onboarding, induction sessions, uniform or access-card requests, and required documentation.
- Assist with employee offboarding, including clearance processes, exit interviews, final-document coordination, and record updates.
- Respond to routine employee queries on HR policies, leave, attendance, benefits, and administrative processes.
- Support employee-engagement activities, staff events, training coordination, and internal communication initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with HR policies, workplace rules, labor requirements, and documentation standards.
- Prepare routine HR reports, including headcount, recruitment status, attendance, turnover, leave, and other workforce trackers.
- Coordinate with department managers on staffing requirements, interview arrangements, attendance matters, and employee documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, payroll, disciplinary, and management information.
- Support audits, inspections, and management reporting by preparing HR records and supporting documents.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Senior Associate – Additional Responsibilities
- Review HR documentation, reports, attendance records, and payroll inputs for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate recruitment activities and support hiring managers in managing candidate pipelines and timely hiring decisions.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to junior HR staff.
- Monitor HR-process compliance and identify gaps or opportunities to improve HR administration and employee services.
- Support employee-relations matters, disciplinary documentation, performance-review coordination, and grievance follow-up under the guidance of the HR Manager.
- Assist with workforce planning, staffing analysis, HR metrics, and policy implementation.
- Escalate sensitive employee issues, legal-compliance risks, and unresolved matters promptly to the HR Manager.
Job Requirements
For Senior Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, or a related role.
- Experience in property management, retail, hospitality, commercial facilities, or service operations is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of recruitment, HR documentation, attendance, leave, payroll support, and employee-relations processes.
- Familiarity with Myanmar labor laws and HR compliance requirements is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIS/payroll systems where applicable.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Myanmar language.
For Associate
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR administration, recruitment, office administration, customer service, or a related role; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
- Basic understanding of recruitment, employee records, attendance, leave administration, and HR documentation.
- Good organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage records accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Myanmar language.
- Professional, approachable, service-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
