Job Description

  • Conduct detailed technical site surveys to assess structural, electrical, and environmental suitability for solar installations.
  • Analyze customer energy consumption patterns and determine optimal system size and specifications and calculate energy production estimates, system losses, and performance metrics.
  • Familiar with solar array layouts, wiring diagrams, and system schematics drawings.
  • Suggest and select appropriate components, including solar modules, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and monitoring systems, based on project requirements.
  • Manage the installation of all system components, including panel mounting, inverter and battery setup, and all associated AC/DC electrical wiring.
  • Perform comprehensive system testing, commissioning, and start-up procedures and conduct final quality inspections and ensure all work complies with best practices.
  • Diagnose and resolve any technical issues that arise during or after installation.
  • Train clients on the proper operation and basic maintenance of their new system.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design drawings, as-built records, commissioning reports, and user manuals.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Any Degree holder (or), B.E (or) B.Tech (or) AGTI Degree or related field more preferrable.
  • Minimum (3 or 5) years of proven, hands-on experience in the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems (grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid).
  • In-depth understanding of solar panel technology, inverter and battery systems (Lithium-ion, Lead-acid), solar charge controllers, and mounting structures.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles, wiring, and local/national electrical codes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
