Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant supports the Housekeeping Department in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment across the 40-acre commercial city. This role performs daily cleaning tasks, follows cleaning schedules, and ensures all areas of the property are well-maintained according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks according to schedules and protocols set by the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, common areas, offices, corridors, and outdoor spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.
  • Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies in restrooms and common areas.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Report any damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Follow proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment as trained.
  • Assist in special cleaning projects (e.g., post-construction cleanup, event setup/breakdown).
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations always.

 

Qualifications

Education:
  • Middle School Pass (Grade 8 or 9)with basic reading/writing; OR
  • High School Pass (Grade 10)
Experience:
  • 1–2 yearsof housekeeping or cleaning experience (on-the-job training provided).
  • Experience in hotel, estate, condominium, or office cleaning is a plus.
Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment (mop, broom, vacuum, cloths).
  • Willingness to learn proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Honest, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor.

Additional Requirements

  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

Physically fit for standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 15–20 kg), and repetitive tasks.
