Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Strategy
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Lead market entry strategies for new products/services or geographic expansions.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  1. Client & Partner Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, investors, and industry partners.
  • Represent the company at high-level meetings, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, joint ventures (JVs), and memorandums of understanding (MoUs).
  1. Deal Sourcing & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution, including prospecting, due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiations.
  • Oversee the preparation of business proposals, investment pitches, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal closures.
  1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Manage and mentor a team of business development associates, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for the business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and results.
  1. Financial & Operational Oversight
  • Develop budgets and financial forecasts for business development initiatives.
  • Track revenue growth, profitability, and ROI of business development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 7+ yearsof experience in business development, corporate strategy, or investment roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking and financial analysis (experience in financial modeling and business valuation).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (Fluency in English and Burmese is required. Fluency in Chinese is a plus.).
  • Leadership ability with experience in managing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics.
